Family education in the garden

The community garden is a vital part of Americana's Family Education program. The parents & children in this program spend time together in the garden working with Garden Manager Alex Udis each week in a specific plot reserved for their projects .

Time spent in the garden provides  these families a chance to learn and grow together. For many of these parents it is also a chance to reconnect with the gardening and farming they undertook in their home countries.

Your support of Americana supports the Family Education program, our community garden, and our many other programs that provide supports to families across our community.
